Although she's quickly downgrading to probably a Tropical Storm, I'm hopeful that this system generates moisture for a lot of the drought-suffering areas across the southwest! We've had just a bit under an inch of rain since 3 am today. PTL!!

What we need is a nice Tropical Storm maybe a Cat 1 hurricane to form in the middle of the Gulf and head NW to WNW and move up and through Texas, NM area and maybe farther west.

With so much glass, steel and concrete, Houston, TX is now like Phoenix, AZ. Different type of hot but sunny and blue skies every single day of the summer. Every single day is the same.
