Location: Navarre - Hidden Creek Estates

We did mothers day brunch at P'cola Beach at Crabs about 11AM. Should not have. Traffic backed up on bridge all the way from island to mainland. Had to circle for 10-15 min to find an open space in 400 car Casino Beach lot. Hadn't see it that bad other than 4th of July - Blue Angels week/weekends! And the nice quiet Sunday brunch 2-person steel drum couple with vocals wasn't there. Instead a loud Louisiana Zydeco style 4-5 person band that could hardly talk to the person right next to you.
Drove back to Navarre via National Seashore Park road - didn't see an open parking space there - nor on the main Navarre beach lots - and cars on shoulder wherever they could find (hope not too many stuck in soft sand?). And at 2 PM as we left Navarre Beach the cars still coming on the island were solid and slow the whole length the bridge. I guess we will have to stop going on weekends until after Labor Day!

When we were "locals", we did the same but sounds like it's even worse now! Well, hopefully good for the merchants and restaurants to help rebuild some of what the shut-down cost them! Makes one re-think retirement relocation plans, however!! :?
