Pictures of a few animals at Gulf Breeze Zoo
Started out early this morning and decided to go to The Zoo. Have not been here since my youngest was a baby so that's now been 27 years. Wow! Time flies! What a lovely job they had done with landscaping and homes for the animals. Here's a few of my favorites from today. I'm an amateur photographer. What fun subject matter!
The cost for touring the zoo is worth it. However, the train ride - which we were told we'd need to do if we wanted to see the rhinoceros, gorillas, and hippopotamus - was not worth the extra money. The hippopotamus never surfaced and the gorillas and rhinoceros can been seen from the boardwalk. It's upper level viewing gives a view and is handicap accessible. Also, for those with limited flexibility - bad knees, hips, I would not recommend the train ride. The kids seem to love it.

Hello Linda,
Thank you for sharing your photos from the zoo. I think the flamingo shot is my favorite, but I cannot view all of the pictures for some reason. The rhinos made me think of John McCain and Paul Ryan
Time does fly. I have been to the zoo when my children were babies and now I am blessed to have been there with my grand babies also!

Awww ... I love your photos, Linda! The giraffe, flamingos and the peacock were my favorites ... but they are all great shots. Thanks so much for sharing them with the forum!

That's funny, Carl, but it took me a second! But, yes, you are right, imo!

My pleasure. The flamingos were amazing. The zoo planners have their habitat designed so well. I could have taken pictures there all day. Next the giraffes...their eyelashes are just beautiful! It's the details of God's handiwork - man cannot match it!AngelGirl wrote:Awww ... I love your photos, Linda!
