Florida, one of the final frontiers of the modern catfishing era, with its warm Gulf ending rivers and large migratory bait fish the Sunshine state will soon be known for its trophy class catfishing as it is for its world class saltwater and bass fishing.
In Florida lies a river with Flatheads and blue cats of untold proportions, so secretly fished by locals many never speak of the monsters they bring to the boat. Rumors of triple digit fish barley make it beyond the boat ramps, each year record class fish go unspoken of, until now.
We here at Flathead Catfish Hunters, LLC are organizing an event that will be talked about for years to come. Fish will be landed that will rival the best catfish bodies of water in the country during this 17 hour event.
True to its name Monsters In Florida is coming, and its right around the corner. Join one of the fastest growing catfish organizations in the world as we put Florida on the map as a tournament destination. Pros from around the country will flock to compete. Rookies will rise to stardom as our events will be talked about around the country.
Working diligently with our partners to bring an event that everyone can look forward to year after year is our goal. Organize your team, re-spool those reels, and mark your calendars. It’s going to be a hell of a ride.

LOL... Welcome to the Navarre Beach Forum "Cathunter" and old friend from PFF. I guess you never know who you'll run into on various forums. I can personally attest that Cathunter has posted pics of some huge catfish on another forum we are members of. Post up some fishing reports for these folks sometime... Btw, word is reds are in the sound right now. I know they were before all of the rain...
