Recently read this book by Kristin Hannah, loosely based on the true life story of two sisters from Belgium who helped with the resistance in WWII. Hannah sets this book in France. Two sisters, complete opposites personality and views of life, both work in their own way to help with the escape of Jews and also help American and British pilots return to England.

At points in the book I felt the story dragged a bit, but then I considered how life must have "dragged" slowly for those living with the barest accommodations after the Nazis occupied France.

Well written and basically a "clean" read without harsh language. There is a theme of redeeming love.
