Two packages of Smoked sausages diced or sliced.
One bell or chili pepper
Saute all this together
In a soup pan combine
2 cans chili beans
1 can black beans
1 can mexi corn
1 can petit diced tomatos
1 120z jar of salsa (mild, med, hot your choice)
Combine the ingredients and add some chili powder (I use about 2 tablespoons)
cumin (2 teaspoons, this is strong so taste as you go)
Simmer for a while
Top with crackers(I use oyster or soup crackers)
whatever you like
avacados,cilatro, fritos sour cream etc.....
I like shredded cheese and crackers.
Wonderful Fall soup for those who like a spicy flare.

Sounds like one Big John will like --- except I'll have to leave out the cilantro. He says that cilantro tastes like "soap" to him! LOL This will be so good with a hunk of good ol' buttery cornbread ... yum, yum!!!
