Hi, Daisy - yes, it's sponsored by NavarreBeachLife.com (this site) and DestinPassLive.com. as a service to the Zoo and the community!
Most of the time when I think to look at it, the orangutans aren't in view but yesterday they were under a blanket!! Guess they were cold!!! Brrrr

Has anyone taken note of a particular time of day when the orangutans are active in the camera-visible part of their environment??

Hi AG -
On Tuesday, they were up on the structure most of the day .... later afternoon they were huddling under a blanket.
Yesterday I checked a few times and didn't see them at all. I don't think they have a schedule .... just when they feel like it.

At 4 pm, they were still playing ... mama is under the bedspread and baby is jumping around and just doing what little orangutan's do! He even can scratch his butt w/his own hind-foot! What a talent!
Now, that WAS a sight!!!!

I have been watching for days to catch some orangutang action but so far have only seen "still" pictures of them. These are really cute and fun but I'd love to see some movement! Any ideas??

Have checked out the orangutan cam each day and as of this a.m., it's still stuck on March 26. Maybe the inclement weather we've had off and on (mostly on) for the past 2 weeks impacted the cam somehow???

Funny you should mention that, AG. I didn't check the date on it and wondered if the orangutan was still there. I also wondered the other day why it looked sunny when it was so cloudy at my house, just a few miles away.
So, it's not working, huh? Very possibly the results of the storms.
