Well we have received about 5 to 7 inches of rain in the last two hours. We are pumping water out of the pool for the last two hours. It is going to be a long four days.

Yesterday afternoon, the sky got dark and foreboding, then a fierce wind blew in from the N-NW (it looked like a dust storm at first) knocking over my porch furniture and scattering the potted plants, then we had a regular old toad strangler here in central East Texas and it turned cool ... but today it's hot and dry!

Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 BSB

Well, it has quit raining. Now the rain has soaked the ground so much that the water has collected behind and under the liner of the pool. The sides and bottom are all puffed out. With five more days of rain predicted, I hope I still have a pool left.

Living for years in Baton Rouge, we've had that happen too. Hope all resolves ok.

It is 10:38 pm. Everything is flooded. Now the frogs are croaking for all their worth. The noise from the outdoor AC unit sounds pretty good to me. It drowns out the frog noise. :D
