We went there once (last year) and while it was top quality, it was also expensive.

Also my wife had fun finding the way out of the parking lot that avoided going over the bridge instead of back towards the island. Must have gone round the lot several times!!!

bjrichus,

Thanks for the reply! It does seem a bit pricey but compared to Louisiana Lagniappe in Destin....it is reasonable. Looks like a very nice place.

P'Kid - We went to the Grand Marlin for brunch on Mother's Day. The food was delicious, and a bit pricey. We sat in the open air dining area, which was very nice, but quite noisy.

I agree that getting out of that parking lot can be a real trick. We were able to figure it out without going over the bridge .... can't remember now how we did it. Just have to look real hard for the spot where you can get to the other side of the median.

Is that the one on the left just before going over the bridge to Pensacola. The one with the eating area over the water? If so I have been there several times on my trips to Florida. Good food but a little pricy.

They had deep fried sweet potato chips or something like that that were good. I would go back if got the chance.

Florida Dreamer,

Yep, the GM is the large restaurant on the east side of the road that takes you over the Bob Sikes Bridge to Hwy 98. It is the last building on the right almost equal with the toll booth. Lovely restaurant it is and one of my top three all time.
