I am amazed of how many people that vacation at Navarre Beach go to Destin and Pensacola for area attractions. But, folks we have it all right here! Navarre Beach is in Santa Rosa County. I have listed below a few of the special attraction links in Santa Rosa County that are just a few minutes away from Navarre Beach. I encourage you to first visit our local attractions and the Navarre Visitor's Center. You will certainly not be sorry that you did.

Thanks Kenny, Great to know all those places. We come down every year and we enjoy your first choice the most, THE BEACH!! It is so nice to just lay in the sun and relax after a long, long winter. We will check out a few of your choices. Thanks again!

Hello, My parents lived in Navarre for 10 years and after IVAN moved to Ohio to live near me. They are 81 & 85!! We fell in love with Navarre but haven't been able to visit since. Can you tell me if the beach restoration is complete and if most of the condos have repaired pools, parking and such. Would love to visit this summer. Thanks much.

Hi jodyanni - Welcome! Yes, just about everything has been restored to pre-hurricane condition. The gulf beach road is not finished to Pensacola Beach, but it is open to Opal Beach.

Navarre Beach has been renourished with tons of pure white sand that was pumped onto the shore from way out in the Gulf. Most condos and pools are back up and running.

All in all, I'd say Navarre Beach is better than ever! Come on down ... you'll love it (again).

East Bay Babe:Thanks for your answer back in May. Still dreaming of a visit, unfortunately my health has been taking a swift turn for the worst and haven't worked in 3 years. Bummer. :( Told my family that there were 2 things I want to do before I die, spend 2 weeks on Navarre Beach, 8) 1 week with all my kids and grandkids and 1 by myself, and go to a NASCAR race at Bristol!
I love to read all about the beach and area, hae never been to a more beautiful beach, from Hawaii to Maine, Va, NJ, North and south Carolina or east and west coast of Fla.
Te only reason we ever left the Navarre area when visiting was to shop and eat!

jodyanni - So sorry to hear you're dealing with bad times right now. We'll say a prayer for your swift healing and better days ahead. Miracles do happen .... many of us on this forum can attest to that.

I will also pray that you have another chance to come to Navarre Beach. There are many more restaurants here than before and the shopping has gotten better, too.

I agree with your assessment of Navarre Beach .... we've been to beaches all over the US, Mexico and Virgin Islands.... there is no prettier beach than what we have right here!

Keep in touch with us. EBB
