So our family and friends we're down Navarre way June 8th through the 15th and we had this nasty looking water for probably three maybe three and a half days. I look on the webcam now and it looks even worse. I wonder what's going on just right there at the shore?

Probably run-off from all the inland rain!

This west wind we've had for the past week has blown the hot Texas air and the chocolate milk from Galveston over here!

Fresh water from the Miss river blown over from the west has affected the whole Miss coast and all the goodies, shrimp, oysters, fishes and bathing, plus Lake Pont.

You both are right. Navarre now looks like Galveston. Well, kinda.

Looking at a bunch of Destin Webcams, not an ounce of this nasty water. Pristine as it just about as always. You are pretty much guaranteed great water in Destin but you have to put up with higher prices and a ton more people and that horrid 98 traffic.

There's a big crowd at the beach today and the water surely looks a lot better than it has in days ... maybe weeks!

Yes it does AG. You can see the dark water just off shore but it looks better.
