Sounds like a great time to make a big pot of locally caught, homemade, Seafood Gumbo with a delicious bottle of crisp Chardonnay.

There is virtually no one on the beach.

Looks like the Friday crowd has shown up!

Riddle me this...Labor Day, I'm sure is crowded. But what about that Saturday? With college football season starting this Thursday (Yippee) and lots of openers on Saturday...is it as crowded?

Now I don't understand this, which is frightening since Navarre Beach is in my soul and I would give a limb to be on the beach at any given time but come on, man......this is the start of college football and yes, the beach will be full. The last weekend of beach time for the vast majority of people until next summer. Wait until Tuesday of next week and then look at the Zoom Cam. Just about completely empty.

My wife and I look forward to being on the beach Saturday until about 4. Then it will be time to head up to the deck to watch my Bulldogs at 4:30. Any gumbo recipes would be appreciated!

I hope everyone has a great (and safe) Labor Day weekend.

Is this kind of Sunday crowd typical for late August? Wondering if more and more schools are starting early August - or other reasons?

We will be there in 25 days!!! but who's counting.

I can assure you that next year, assuming retirement plans hold up, we will make several trips & some of them will be based on what we see on the awesome webcam. Love it!

There must be no more than 20 people on the entire beach, from east of the pier to west of Bel Mer.

Amazing..... 8)

But you are looking at a concrete jungle. Not for this kid but enjoy your purchase.

Sorry - I deleted that post, 'Kid. It was an unauthorized ad for a foreign vacation spot which is considered "spam" on this forum.

Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 BSB
