Re: Toll road on Navarre Beach?

So you are one who thinks the back of my truck is more pretty than the view, so pass on the double yellow line, you would pay the fine, I don't care.

Re: New Hotel on the beach

Checked 8375 Gulf Boulevard on Google, it shows a large area of sand on the left just before the first bend going west from the pier, but up on 98 about 2 miles west of 87 on the left a large construction is going up looking like a hotel.

Re: Toll road on Navarre Beach?

FYI. If it is designated as part of 'national parks and fed recreational land' seniors over 62 years can get a life time pass for $7.00 for any park or rec land in the country, apply at any ranger station.

Re: To be or not to be a snowbird/local/ or just stay a visi

Re: Fins to the left....Fins to the right

I witnessed the same thing off of Ft.lauderdale beach years ago, what bothered me was I had been swiming in the area minutes before the water erupted, we walked down the beach for half mile watching this marvel, not only sharks but other large fish enjoying their lunch.

Re: Navarre to PBeach Road

The 15mph applies when the birds are in town, otherwise it's 25 to 35 depends where you are, why go any faster it is a beautiful drive, apart from the idiots who seem to prefer the close up view of the back my F150.

Re: Just returned home from Navarre

It's not so much the water it's the land LA is losing, if the river is allowed to enter the marshes the silt brought down will help maintain the marshes and build land, if the salt water from the gulf is allowed in it will continue the intrusion then soon it will be New Orleans -on-sea, as for the o...

Re: Fishing mouth of East Bay river

Years ago my boss called into office and asked if I went fishing this weekend, I told him yes and had some luck, he said how come you catch so many fish, I replied I go fishing, and under my breath a**hole. he did not know I live on the water both front and back.

Re: the Pier Cafe

We can always get a beer and a bite at Tom Thumb at a reasonable price without tipping anyone, let alone two servers for the same order, but I do miss the benches at the end of the pier.
