I had an opportunity to visit the new "Beach Monkey" over the weekend. The owners did a wonderful job remodeling.

I am not sure if the local county school district was involved, and probably not. I simply recall the toll being removed and ownership of the structure being transfered from the state to the county. Wasn't toll (when the bridge was controlled by the State) supposed to be used for repair and maintenance? Then when control was shifted to the County (along with a chunk of change), the toll removed?? Curious
