Re: TOP'S Burgers

Tops has been a local favorite for burgers for years and recently moved to opposite side for more space. They do not have the manufactured taste of the large chains but are "hometown" burgers.only rivaled by the ones that the pier had when Dorothy managed.

Re: Navarre Beach always Yellow Flag?

Caution is always advisable along our shore line. Visitors continue to confuse under tow of the east coast with rip currents that we experience in what may seem to be calm surf compared to the continual under tow of the east coast. Again, we should always err on the side of caution. Please take that...

Re: Day 6 - seven minute long drone video....

Watched this being done from the deck at the pier bar. Amazing that this came from a little 18-20" helicopter drone considered a toy. On my wish list, hear that Santa? Fish will not have a chance, and what fun!!! Might not be fair, though, uh?

Re: Is the replenishment project adversely affecting fishing

Pumping started between 8- - 9 am, according to drift or wind directions the pier may see some dingy water at times for the next few days but that will not last. After the last time of dredging I caught limits of spanish within minutes though some blamed dredging for lack of catching fish. Having po...

Re: Found van staal Reel and custom rod.

You may want to post same on the Pensacolafishingforum.com. That reel alone sells for $700 - 900.00. Be sure you ask any replies to give a full description of the custom rod (type of guides, wrap patterns, color and variation of, etc.) Might also ask to see thier sales receipt or some other proof of...

Re: Beach restoration?

Thier intention was to come ashore around Beach Colony and thats where it is at. Understanding is that they will extend the pipe east to far extent of the Park then build sand while moving west with un-needed lengths moved to the west of the Colony, then repeat moving back east to where the pipe cam...

Pete, I hear the same from friends who have suffered ( them or family and friends) under the Castro's tyrany.and I agree they know a better picture than most of us. Re: Palin backs Trump

My memory is that Adams presented the treaty, for ratification, a couple of months after he became President in March. The treaty was first signed in Tripoli in November of the year previous while Washington was still President as Pete stated. Paper work took a while to move around the world in thos...

Re: Summerwind Construction & Painting

They have been working on all 3 Summerwind buildings, painting, pressure washing, removing railings. Do not think they thought weather woud allow use of pools at this time of year. They block sliders from outside so balconys can not be accessed. Check with your realtor, if you can survive without us...

Re: Flounder and blacktips in East river mouth (at bay start

Pin fish are abundant in the sound, little less so up the rivers. A trap set off a dock over night should provide all day bait. Keep them in a trolling bucket on the side of boat, they do not survive well with a aerator. Florida flounder will soon begin migrating from sound, bay, and river mouths an...

Thanks for the prayers from everyone. You are right Lgc "no big deal", but I will always have concern because of family history. Re: ATV trail on beach

You might want to ask the Feds that manage the National Seashore of the neccessity of the ATVs. I know they use them to monitor turtle and bird nestings along the beach, a important and necessary duty of the park rangers. They saved lots of turtle nests this season, moving some of them, hard to carr...
